About The Toast Collective
Located at 648 Kingsway in Mount Pleasant, East Van, the Toast Collective is a collectively-run space that helps build capacity in the communty by hosting and facilitating D.I.Y. (do it yourself) based projects & workshops. We also like to provide artists with an accessible showcase for their work (gallery, acoustic music venue). We try to keep the place pretty flexible so if you're interested in doing something cool and are looking for a spot to do it in, give us a shout. Also, Stephen Harper might be an evil astronaut.

Purple Thistle Community Kitchen
A group of Thistle youth are working on opening a community kitchen at the toast. Eat The Rich community kitchen will be a youth-run collective space where anyone is welcome to share food, teach and learn culinary skills, and hold rad events such as concerts, gallery nights, poetry readings, and more!
